The first British International School in Ukraine, opened its doors to students and parents in downtown Kyiv, in March 1997. The Kyiv Nivki School was originally launched to serve the needs of both a growing expatriate population looking for an international education for their children and also of aspiring Ukrainian parents seeing the value of such an opportunity. Today the Kyiv Nivki school is a modern building located in a historical neighbourhood that was first mentioned as a “rural and summer resort” area back in 1850.
